Braehead has always had a very varied and well supported diary of Opens. Gents can choose from individual stroke play for low & high handicappers, Scrambles, Greensomes and Betterballs. Our Tennent Trophy is a 4 Man Betterball whereby two players move back a time and play with another team. Our ladies host a Singles Stableford Open and a popular Tri-Am as well as a Mixed Open and a charity CHAS day which is open to any combination of players. The Seniors also have team scrambles, individual and mixed events. While our very busy Juniors hold their Open during the summer school holidays, this event also has a flag event for young ones who do not hold a handicap as yet.
