Kevin & Mike would like to extend to you a warm welcome to your Senior Golf Section.
We have a very active Senior section at Braehead, which is open to any gents over 55. You can find us on the course most mornings and in the lounge thereafter where you can join us for a chat over a pot of tea and a morning roll or two. We play Medal, Stableford and Trophy competitions every Wednesday during the summer season, while the Ochil Shield is played throughout the winter.
Our notice board is in the gents locker room, there you can add your name to any of the sheets and join us for a game. We play friendly games against all the local clubs and some beyond, and we also enter a team in the very competitive and friendly Caledonian League, playing home & away throughout the country.
We have a very busy social calendar, we have our annual prize giving lunch and carol singing and a mixed “Burns” lunch with our Senior ladies. We have recently started a Senior & Junior scramble day and run various golfing events to raise funds for CHAS and Strathcarron Hospice.
